Uncontrolled bleeding is the leading cause of preventable death after traumatic injury. Severe bleeding can kill someone in as little as 3-5 minutes.
The simulator demonstrates the essential steps to follow in the event of a simple wound, severe bleed, burn or fracture.
The trainee is expected to provide first aid to a person who is bleeding. They will have to complete the correct steps, using the right material for each of them.
The trainee is expected to provide first aid to a person who is suffering from severe bleeding.
The trainee is expected to provide first aid to a person who is suffering from a fracture.
The trainee is expected to provide first aid to a person who is suffering from a burn.
